FRONT: Thank you for ALWAYS having my BACK!
BACK: FACT: Your back muscles are separated into two main groups. The extrinsic muscles are connected to your upper body, for the movement of your shoulders and arms. These muscles are what create the V shape in your back. The intrinsic muscles move your spine and help with posture. Each group is made up of layers of muscles that connect one bone to another, allowing for movement and stability.
Back pain is very common. Keeping your core and back muscles strong will help protect your spine and keep it healthy. Incorporating exercise into your routine is key to health, but remember everyone is at a different level.
The International Museum of Surgical Science, a division of the International College of Surgeons (ICS), maintains over 10,000 square feet of public galleries committed to the history of surgery, and an exquisite permanent collection of art and artifacts from the history of Medicine. The Museum supports its Mission through medically themed exhibitions and programs, in addition to a strong contemporary art exhibition program.
