22 precision cut laser and engraved hardwood pieces must be inserted into the frame. Artistic and challenging with great detail to each piece. Very difficult.
At least 4 different woods, 1/4" thick, are used. The pieces are extremely detailed. Measures about 7.5" square in the fame and cover. Pieces in the puzzle include tools, equipment and items associated with the science of Biology, including microscope, Bunsen burner, DNA, Textbook, cell, Petri dish, test tubes, beakers, lab mouse, pipettor, 96 well plate, Gell Electrophoneses, safety glasses, lab coat, and more.
The International Museum of Surgical Science, a division of the International College of Surgeons (ICS), maintains over 10,000 square feet of public galleries committed to the history of surgery, and an exquisite permanent collection of art and artifacts from the history of Medicine. The Museum supports its Mission through medically themed exhibitions and programs, in addition to a strong contemporary art exhibition program.
